DG Preventive Premium
The most comprehensive study to determine the risk of developing different hereditary diseases
Our most complete preventive test
DG Preventive Premium is a preventive genetic test that analyzes 344 genes associated with the risk of developing different hereditary diseases, including cardiovascular diseases and cancer, as well as knowing if you are a carrier of an autosomal recessive disease and its risk of transmission to offspring.
Its realization provides the following advantages:
- It reduces uncertainty and anxiety about the risk of hereditary heart disease or hereditary cancer.
- It allows to know the carrier status of a monogenic recessive or X-linked disease and to obtain information about the risk of transmission to offspring, allowing a correct family planning.
- It provides valuable information for the entire family, even for members who have not been tested.
- It allows for appropriate follow-up for each family member based on the results obtained.
- EDTA blood (1x 5 ml)
- Saliva (specific Isohelix kit)
- Buccal exudate (2x sterile isopes)
- Isolated DNA (>30 ng/μl in >100 μl)
Remember to label each sample with the patient's first and last name or with the identifier used on the request form.
Diseases studied
34 inherited cardiovascular diseases
35 types of hereditary cancer
143 diseases of autosomal recessive inheritance or X-linked diseases
Why is it important to do so?
- Cardiovascular diseases
Cardiovascular diseases are the leading cause of death worldwide and up to 25% of sudden cardiac deaths are due to genetic abnormalities in genes responsible for the structure of the heart muscle or heart rhythm.
DG Preventive Cardio can help to identify the existence of mutations in genes related to these pathologies, allowing the implementation of appropriate preventive measures and the follow-up of these patients by medical specialists.

- Hereditary cancer
Cancer is the second leading cause of death in the world and it is known that in up to 15% of cases there is a hereditary component.
Epidemiological data demonstrate the importance of early diagnosis for patient survival. Thus, colorectal cancer and breast cancer, for example, have five-year survivals of 14% and 30%, respectively, when diagnosed at stage IV, but which rise to 91% and 99% if diagnosed at stage I.
DG Preventive Cancer can help identify individuals with mutations in genes associated with the development of hereditary cancer, which would allow specialists to implement early preventive and follow-up measures to prevent its occurrence or to diagnose it at the earliest possible stage.
Who is our DG Preventive Premium study aimed at?
- People with a family history of hereditary cardiovascular disease.
- People with a family history of hereditary cancer.
- Healthy people who are concerned about their own health care and that of their family members.
- Anyone who wants to know the risk of transmitting a genetic disease to their children.
We offer the possibility of performing the genetic study from a saliva sample. For this purpose, we provide our clients with saliva collection kits, so that the patient can collect the sample comfortably at home. Each kit contains a saliva collector, collection instructions, a request form and an informed consent form.
