From today until next Friday 17th we will participate in the IV Interdisciplinary Congress of Human Genetics.
During these three days a hundred national and international speakers will address key issues such as the use of Artificial Intelligence in precision medicine, new diagnostic techniques, advances in cancer, genomic innovation in prenatal diagnosis or the implementation of pharmacogenetics in the NHS.
The congress is organized by seven scientific societies; the Spanish Association of Human Genetics (AEGH), the Spanish Association of Prenatal Diagnosis (AEDP), the Spanish Society of Genetic Counseling (SEAGEN), the Spanish Society of Clinical Genetics and Dysmorphology (SEGCD), the Spanish Society of Pharmacogenetics and Pharmacogenomics (SEFF), the Spanish Society of Bioinformatics and Computational Biology (SEBIBC) and Asociación Salud Digital (ASD), representing more than 2.000 professionals (physicians, biologists, chemists, biochemists, pharmacists, bioinformaticians and technicians). All of them unanimously emphasize the fundamental role of genomics in the transformation of medicine towards a more preventive, personalized and precision vision.
