In the latest issue of IMMédico has published an article by our bioinformatics team on the development of Next-Generation Sequencing technologies and their implication in the study of genetic diseases.
The implementation of new massive sequencing technologies in clinical practice, together with bioinformatics programs for data analysis, allows the identification of alterations and new genes related to the development of a genetic disease, which helps to improve the diagnosis, prognosis and treatment of patients.
