Hypoacusis is the loss of hearing capacity, to a lesser or greater degree, which may be caused by environmental or genetic causes. It is estimated that around 80% of newly diagnosed cases of hypoacusis have a hereditary basis and, according to the WHO, it affects 360 million people around the world.
Last Thursday we held a seminar in collaboration with APADA- Asociación de Padres y Amigos de Personas con Discapacidad Auditiva de Asturias, where we talked about hearing loss, what role genetics plays in it and its diagnosis.
We share with you the complete talk and we are at your disposal for any questions or information you may need.
